Privacy Policy
The short version: this site doesn't have user accounts, doesn't run analytics or tracking scripts, and doesn't collect anything from you beyond what any website's hosting provider logs automatically. The longer version is below.
What this site collects
Nothing directly. There are no accounts, no comment sections, and no forms that ask you for personal information. The web server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) the way any web server does - this is infrastructure-level logging, not tracking, and it isn't used to build a profile of you or shared with anyone.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking script. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated to say so before it happens, not after.
The Start Here checklist is the one exception worth naming specifically: it uses your browser's localStorage to remember which guides you've checked off. That data stays on your device, in that browser, and is never sent to us or anyone else - clearing your browser data or switching devices resets it.

Some links on this site, particularly on Hardware pages, are Amazon affiliate links - we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through one, at no extra cost to you. Clicking through to Amazon means Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply from that point on, not this site's. We don't see or control what Amazon does with that visit.
Other links off this site
Guides here link out to other resources - communities like r/LocalLLaMA, other local AI sites, and our own social accounts (X, YouTube, Instagram) and Buy Me a Coffee page. Each of those is a separate service with its own privacy policy. This policy only covers craftingyourai.com itself.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group.
